WATER QUALITY

A number of physical- chemical tests and microbiology tests can be accurately carried out at competitive prices, at the Central Laboratory in Kampala.

SEWER SERVICES

Every time a toilet is flushed, no one really cares where it ends up but if left untended to, that flush could lead to serious health issues. That is where NWSC’s Sewerage Services Department (SSD) comes in.

REPORT A LEAK

In our ongoing battle against leakages, we urge you our dear customers to report any bursts and leaks that you may come across to enable us have a team repair them in the shortest time possible. NWSC is mandated to provide clean safe water for all.

TRADE WASTE

The SSD currently operates two Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) in Bugolobi and Lubigi; the former being a conventional treatment plant while the latter is based on Waste Stabilization Ponds (WSP).

About NWSC

Who We Are

NWSC was formed by Decree No. 34 in 1972 to serve the urban areas of Kampala, Entebbe, and Jinja. In 1995, NWSC was re-organized under the NWSC Statute. The company was given more authority and autonomy and the mandate to operate and provide water and sewerage services in areas entrusted to it, on a sound commercial and viable basis. As of October 2016, the following cities and towns receive services from NWSC​

Greetings and welcome to our official website. We deeply acknowledge that these are unprecedented times, and we want to ensure that all Ugandans have access to our services as reliable water supply and sanitation are very critical now more than ever, so we are playing our part in helping the community in every way possible. From multiple partnerships to aid the erection of 100 public water points to supply water to water-stressed areas of the Kampala Water jurisdiction and working closely with the Government to ensure that recommendations from the World Health Organization are followed and implemented, to making necessary adjustments to our programs to serve you better.
